A UNIQUE STORY OF THE CIVIL WAR.
TWO ENEMIES, ONE COMMON GOAL. SURVIVAL.
APRIL 1862, SET IN ARIZONA TERRITORY DURING THE OPENING MONTHS OF THE AMERICAN CIVIL WAR, TWO SOLDIERS, ONE UNION, ONE CONFEDERATE, MUST COOPERATE IN ORDER TO SURVIVE BEING STRANDED IN THE SONORAN DESERT.
THE WAR BETWEEN IS MORE THAN A WAR FILM, MORE THAN A WESTERN. ALTHOUGH POSSESSING QUALITIES OF BOTH GENRES IN EQUAL MEASURE IT IS A UNIQUE STORY SET DURING A LITTLE-KNOWN CHAPTER OF THE CIVIL WAR: NAMELY, THE CONFEDERATE ATTEMPT TO CAPTURE TERRITORIES IN THE AMERICAN SOUTHWEST IN 1862, AND THE UNION FORCES FROM CALIFORNIA WHO MARCHED INTO THE SONORAN DESERT TO CONFRONT THEM. IT IS A STORY OF TWO AMERICANS REPRESENTING A GREAT POLITICAL DIVIDE WHO MUST LEARN TO TRUST ONE ANOTHER AND WORK TOWARD A COMMON GOAL: SURVIVAL.
